Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A vintage map of Putnam County New York. A series of insets surrounding the map show architecture of note in the area at the time. The County Seat of Carmel is featured in detail at the bottom right and the village of Cold Spring is featured bottom left. This beutifully illustrated map from the public domain was created and published by R.F. O'Connor and M.H. Traubel & Co. in 1854. This reproduction image has been color corrected and restored but still shows a little wear and tear due to age.

My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
