I'm Gordon Mooneyhan and have been a photographer since before high school. I graduated from Myrtle Beach [SC] High School in 1976. Largely self-taught, my photography interests are varied and include trains and landscapes, as well as macro-photos of nature. I didn't totally convert to digital until Kodak announced the end of Kodachrome--probably the best color film ever made.
I have my work sorted into various galleries by subject--just click the galleries tab to see them.
I also enjoy experimenting with Photoshop to create paint effects on some of my pictures.
My work is in public and private collections in the US, Canada, and Europe, including the collections of several nationally known artists. Additionally, some of my work is in the collection of Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT.
